Posted on January 20, 2020 – This Orecchiette with Sausage and Broccoli Rabe looks as pretty for lunch on Monday as is did last night – when I forgot to take a picture. Mangia Monday 2020, Week 2 is not vegan, vegetarian or even pescatarian, but it is generally a crowd pleaser. (Sunday may have to be one of our cheat days, and we are going for 80-20 at home adherence to our new pescatarian lifestyle, anyway. And I had sausage in the freezer that I needed to use up. ) This recipe on Food.com is based on one by Giada DeLaurentiis recipe from her book, Everyday Italian. I follow it pretty closely, other than making a whole pound of pasta and cutting back on the olive oil a bit. I also generally use Chinese kale or Pak Choi in Hong Kong as it is easier to get and way cheaper.
