When I saw this Strawberry Frozen Yogurt recipe in my Once Upon a Chef newsletter last week last week, I immediately put my ice cream machine bowl in the freezer and put all the ingredients on my shopping list! I was in luck that they had perfect strawberries at Aldi, and I used their Friendly Farms Plain Whole Milk Greek Yogurt, too. If you love strawberries and have an ice cream maker, I recommend trying this one ASAP. It is truly delicious – plain, with strawberries, or with chocolate sauce.
The only change I made was to cut the sugar a little bit to about 2/3 cup. (I thought it was plenty sweet and might go to 1/2 cup next time.) After the first day, you’ll probably need to leave the container on the counter for 10-15 minutes to make it easier to scoop, but I promise it is worth the wait!
